Administration Building Restoration Project

The original victorian building at 177 Main Street has stood since the late 1800s. In that time, it has enjoyed lives as a home, a children's museum, and now an office space for Discovery Museum's full and part-time administrative staff. While the original Children's Discovery Museum holds a special place in the history of both Discovery Museum and the Town of Acton, more than a century of use has left the well-loved structure in poor condition. Discovery Museum now looks to our community to help save this historic structure, while also performing the necessary restorations to keep the space safe and accessible for another century and beyond.
