The Power of Agency

The times we live in are exceptional — this is great, and at the same time, not so great. Things move so fast that we all struggle to keep up. Too much is stimulating our minds all day and increased demands make it hard to adapt and prosper. When we lose our ability to adapt we stop learning and growing — and can’t succeed at our goals — and that’s when we lose our agency. Agency is the ability to act as an effective agent for yourself — getting your mind, body, and emotions in balance to think clearly, advocate for yourself, and make choices that create good things in your life.

Dr. Rao will discuss his just-released book, The Power of Agency, co-authored with Paul Napper, Psy.D. and written based on years of research and real-world application. He will guide you to develop your “inner agent,” to fully become the author of your life

Location:
The Fenn School
516 Monument Street

Join us at 6:30 pm for light refreshments in the Connolly Dining Hall.
The presentation will begin at 7:00 pm in Ward Hall.
