Coronavirus and Family Mental Health: Episode 2 of a Two-Part Mini-Series

October 8th, 7:00 - 8:30 pm

This episode is presented virtually via Zoom Webinar

Discovery Museum is pleased to offer a unique opportunity to hear from Dr. Gene Beresin, Executive Director of The Clay Center for Young Healthy Minds at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) on the topics that matter most to you. This second episode of the two-episode mini-series focused on Coronavirus and Family Mental Health will address the realities of the start of the school year. This event will be moderated by Discovery Museum CEO, Neil Gordon.

Dr. Beresin lectures widely on behalf of the Clay Center’s dedication to promoting and supporting the mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being of children, teens, and young adults.  The Center is experienced in supporting families with both neurotypical and neurodiverse children.  This presentation is suitable for parents, grandparents, educators, and anyone with concern about the short- and long-term impact of Coronavirus on our communities’ children and families.

Please share your thoughts and concerns via this survey—questions will be consolidated and curated in advance of the presentation—and join us to hear Dr. Beresin’s sage advice.

After completing the form below (please note there are multiple screens), you will receive a registration confirmation email with the Zoom link. Please contact Karen Kerns at kkerns@discoveryacton.org if you do not receive this email so we can help you with your registration.

If you do not have Zoom installed on your computer or mobile device, you can download it at zoom.us/support/download. It is recommended you do this before October 8th so you are prepared to join the webinar.
