The Addiction Inoculation: Raising Healthy Kids in a Culture of Dependence

Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM

Presented virtually via Zoom webinar

Jessica Lahey will talk about her new book, The Addiction Inoculation, which is a comprehensive resource parents and educators can use to prevent substance abuse in children. Based on research in child welfare, psychology, substance abuse, and developmental neuroscience, this essential guide provides evidence-based strategies and practical tools adults need to understand, support, and educate resilient, addiction-resistant children. The guidelines are age-appropriate and actionable—from navigating a child’s risk for addiction, to interpreting signs of early abuse, to advice for broaching difficult conversations with children.

Pre-orders of her book, The Addiction Inoculation, which will be released April 6, can be ordered from The Silver Unicorn Bookstore here. Thank you for supporting this local business.

All registrants will receive a follow-up email on the day of the event with a link to the Zoom Webinar presentation that evening. If you do not have Zoom installed on your computer or mobile device, you can download it at zoom.us/support/download
