Especially for Me: Free Autism-Friendly Afternoon

Come play and explore in our ADA-compliant and universally designed museum during this special, free afternoon dedicated to families with members on the autism spectrum. The museum will be closed to the general public during this event.

Important note: By reserving tickets to visit the Museum, you are agreeing to follow our health and safety guidelines, including:

  • Do not visit if you or anyone in your party is sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
  • Visitors ages 2 and up must wear a mask or appropriate facial covering at all times. To request a mask exemption due to a disability or medical exemption, please complete this form and promptly email Brindha Muniappan at bmuniappan@discoveryacton.org. 
  • Follow all safety signage on the campus, including gallery capacity limits
  • Keep 6-feet physical distance from staff and other visitors not in your group
  • No food or drink, other than water or baby bottles, is permitted anywhere on campus
  • Adults are expected to help children follow the rules
  • We ask that visitors stay with the individuals they are visiting with. A visitor group is defined as the 7 or fewer individuals that you have reserved tickets for.
  • Do not visit the Museum if you have recently traveled to Massachusetts, unless you are in compliance with state guidelines for quarantining and/or testing. For information on the current guidelines, please see: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-travel-order.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask people who are sick or not following the rules to leave the campus.
