Please note that beginning January 7, 2025, you will no longer need to make a reservation to visit. Our reservation system will be turned off on January 6, 2025.
Strollers
For the comfort and safety of all, no large strollers or wagons will be permitted inside the Museum; small umbrella strollers will be allowed. (We have a few umbrella strollers and wearable infant carriers available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis; please ask at the Admissions desk.) Exceptions will be allowed for medical or accessibility constraints. You may request an exception at the Admissions desk or if you prefer to contact us in advance after making your reservation, please email (24+ hours in advance) fun@discoveryacton.org or call us at 978-264-4200. There is a designated, unattended area outside the Museum for stroller parking.
Reservation Times
You may stay as long as you like, but must check in within the hour you selected for your reservation window. Please note that reservations can be made 10 days in advance for non-members, 14 days in advance for members.
Carbon Offset Fee
Beginning September 12, 2023, a 50-cent fee will be added to each visitor group’s admission fee to purchase carbon offsets to mitigate the environmental impact of travel to and from the Museum. (Free or $1 admission visitors will not be charge this fee.) Discovery Museum will purchase carbon offsets to mitigate travel by our staff and volunteers. Please inform the staff member processing your admission fee if you would prefer not to support this sustainability program. Members pay a $1 per year opt-out offset fee when purchasing their membership and will not be charged the additional 50-cent fee at check-in.
Admission Prices and Discounts
You will be charged admission, minus any discounts, when you arrive (unless it is a free event such as Free Friday Nights).
Regular admission prices
Adults & children: $17.00; Seniors 60+: $16.00; Children under 1, Members, Teachers: Free

Member Reservations
Members, please sign in at the top of your screen prior to reserving your tickets so that your member benefits can be applied; you must register the first time you reserve tickets.
Troubleshooting
- If you are unable to select a specific date/time within the 10 to 14 day reservation window, that means ALL RESERVATIONS ARE BOOKED for that date and time.
- If you are unable to enter your desired number of reservations, that means reservations are almost fully booked and there are not enough remaining to fulfill your request. Please select another date and/or time.
