Important note: By reserving tickets to visit the Museum, you are agreeing to follow our health and safety guidelines, including:

·       Do not visit if you or anyone in your party is sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19

·       Visitors ages 2 and up must wear a mask or appropriate facial covering at all times

o  Per state guidelines, masks or facial coverings must be form-fitting to the side of the head and be fastened with ear loops or ties. 

§   The following are NOT approved facial coverings:

 ·     Gaiters without ear loops, scarves, bandannas, masks with valves (unless the valve is covered with tape or another form-fitting mask). 

§ Face shields are not required. They may be worn in addition to a mask, but not in place of a mask.

·       Safety signage – Please follow all safety signage throughout the campus including gallery capacity limits and one-way directional flows.

·        Keep 6-feet physical distance from staff and other visitors not in your group.

·        No food or drink - other than water or baby bottles - is permitted anywhere on campus. Snacks must be eaten in personal vehicles only.

·        Group limit of 7 individuals - We ask that visitors stay with the individuals they are visiting with. Please refrain from joining up with other groups/households during your visit. 

·     Adults are expected to help children follow the rules.

·       We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask people who are sick or not following the rules to leave the Discovery Museum campus.

 

Massachusetts Travel Restrictions

·     Do not visit the Museum if you or anyone in your group has been outside of Massachusetts (except Hawaii) in the last 10 days. 

·     If you, or anyone in your group, has traveled outside of the state, each person must present a negative COVID test result that was administered within 72 hours of arrival in the state. 

 

Admission

This is a reservation process only; you will be charged admission when you arrive at the Museum. Advance ticket reservations are required.

Members are able to reserve tickets 7 days prior to their visit; please sign in at the top of your screen prior to reserving your tickets so that your member benefits can be applied; you must register the first time you reserve tickets.

Non-members are able to reserve tickets 5 days prior to their visit.

Adults & children: $15.50
Seniors 60+: $14.50

Children under 1, Members, Teachers: Free

 

Discounts

We have a wide variety of discounts available. Check out the Ways To Save page on our website for available discounts. Present any appropriate discount documentation to Admissions staff when you check in.

 

When reserving tickets:

  • If you are unable to select a specific date/time within the 5 to 7 day reservation window, that means TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT for that date and time.
  • If you are unable to enter your desired number of tickets, that means there are not enough tickets available for that date/time. Please select another date and/or time when available.

 

Inclement Weather Policy

If the Museum needs to close for inclement weather on a day you are scheduled to visit, we will notify you via email and/or phone. You can also check the homepage of our website. 

 

Cancellations

If you or a member of your party become ill prior to your scheduled visit, if you book the wrong time block by mistake, or your plans change and you cannot visit, please call the Museum at 978-264-4200 to release your reservation.

 

THIS IS A RESERVATION PROCESS ONLY.

Your cart will show a price of $0.00 because you are not charged when you make your reservation online; WE WILL COLLECT YOUR ADMISSION FEE WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE MUSEUM. Members with guests are free depending on their Membership level. Any valid Discount or Coupon can be applied when you arrive.
